Here are my Week 2 college softball Power 10 rankings.
1. Tennessee
It is Week 2, and we have a new No. 1. The Tennessee Vols take over the top spot in the nation and for very good reason. Undefeated 10-0, and looking unstoppable. They left Clearwater with 5 wins, 4 over ranked teams including Nebraska, UCLA and FSU. We knew this team would have good pitching, but the offense looks legit.
2. Texas Tech
Texas Tech moves to No. 2 after dropping one game to Nebraska in Clearwater by one run. Still picked up 2 ranked wins and finished the tournament 5-1.
3. Texas
The Longhorns stay put at 3 with 5 wins.
4. Oklahoma
Oklahoma stays at 4. OU had 4 run rule wins, including a 34-0 win over UTEP, an unreal offensive explosion.
5. Florida
Florida at 5 remains undefeated, 12-0 on the season.
6. Alabama
Alabama jumps a bit too as they stay undefeated on the season and notched two wins over Purdue and two over Liberty. Three run-rules on the weekend.

7. FSU
FSU at seven after Clearwater… They picked up wins over UCLA and FAU but fell to Texas Tech and Tennessee.. The top two teams in the country.
8. Arkansas
Arkansas comes in at No. 8 after five run-rule wins last weekend. Including one over a ranked Clemson team.

9. Georgia
At 9, we have Georgia entering the Power 10 this season after a strong showing in Clearwater. The bats were hot all weekend, and the Dawgs scored 57 runs. Sarah Gordon had 6 triples, and Kierston Roose had three homers. The Dawgs won 5 games in a row, including a win over Nebraska, after the opening loss to Oklahoma State.
10. Nebraska
And finally at 10… I can't knock the Huskers out. I know this team has 4 losses on the season, but the Huskers have scheduled harder than anyone and now have taken down two No. 1 teams, Texas and Texas Tech, this past weekend in Clearwater. Their two losses on the weekend came to Tennessee, now No. 1, and Georgia, who I have ahead of them. But I think the Huskers' ceiling for this season is very high.
UCLA drops out of the top 10 after 4 losses in Clearwater.
