Three full weeks into the women's basketball season and already under-the-radar teams have risen into national prominence and preseason title contenders have dropped games. Here are Autumn Johnson's 10 best test teams heading into Week 4.
1. UConn (Prev. 1)
The Huskies survived a major scare from Michigan, escaping the near upset 72โ69.

2. South Carolina (Prev. 2)
The Gamecocks stay at No. 2 after cruising past Winthrop and Queens. Joyce Edwards had 47 points between last week's two games.
3. UCLA (Prev. 3)
The Bruins also stay put after rolling past South Florida and Southern last week. South Carolina, UCLA and Texas are all looking ahead to the Players Era Championship on Wednesday and Thursday.
4. Texas (Prev. 4)
The Longhorns posted 206 points through two games against Texas Southern and James Madison. Watch out for the Players Era Championship, which will more than likely shake up these rankings.

5. LSU (Prev. 5)
Tigers set an SEC record with their sixth-straight 100-point game in their 112-49 victory over Alcorn State Nov. 20. LSU has scored over 100 points in each of its games so far this season.
6. Michigan (Prev. NR)
The Wolverines put the nation on notice by giving the defending champs its toughest test of the season. Michigan was only one possession away from knocking off the No. 1 team in the nation. Despite the loss, this performance shows exactly where this team stands. Michigan also has a 39-point win on its resume against Notre Dame.
7. Maryland (prev. 7)
The Terps are 7-0 and have scored at least 80 points in its first seven games to start the season for the first time this century.

8. Oklahoma (Prev. 8)
The Sooners are on a four-game winning streak and each of the four wins came by at least 25 points.
9. TCU (Prev. 10)
TCU women's basketball head coach Mark Campbell picked up his 100th career victory in only 140 games behind the Horned Frogs' 93-57 win over UTRGV on Sunday. It's TCU's third straight 6-0 start to a season thanks to Olivia Miles three straight 15-5-5 game and NCAA-leading 29th of her career.
