Middlebury wins the 2024 NCAA DIII field hockey championship

DIII field hockey: 2024 selection show

Middlebury has won the 2024 DIII field hockey national championship.

The Panthers (19-2) knocked off Tufts in the title game, 2-1. It’s Middlebury’s seventh straight national title and the Panthers have won eight of the last nine.

Georgianne Defo and Caroline Segal accounted for Middlebury’s goals. Kylie Rosenquest scored for Tufts. 

The tournament began with a 28-team field in a single-elimination bracket, which was revealed during a selection show on Sunday, Nov. 10 on krikya18.com. The national championship game took place at W& L Turf Field in Lexington, Virginia on Nov. 24.
