Following another week of conference play chaos, St John's and Iowa State climbed into the top 10 of Andy Katz's Power 37 rankings.
Here are the latest rankings:
1. Arizona (1): The Wildcats had quite a week by winning at BYU and taking down Arizona State in Tempe.
2. Michigan (5): Michigan took down Nebraska and then Michigan State on the road for two top-10 wins.
3. Duke (3): The Blue Devils are rolling in the ACC in advance of the first of two Tobacco Road showdowns.
4. UConn (2): The Huskies remain atop the Big East in advance of the St. John’s showdown.
5. Illinois (7): The Illini got past Washington at home and then took down Nebraska Sunday for back-to-back weekend top-10 wins on the road.
6. Gonzaga (6): The Bulldogs got the win over Saint Mary’s in the last home game against their WCC rivals.
7. Nebraska (4): The Huskers lost twice, but the first one at Michigan came without two of their top three starters and the second was to a surging Illinois.

8. Houston (9): The Cougars are poised for a Big 12 title challenging run.
9. Iowa State (11): The Cyclones are back to being a Big 12 challenger.
10. St. John’s (14): The Red Storm are rising just in time for the showdown with UConn.
11. Kansas (15): The Jayhawks are rocking with and without Darryn Peterson on the floor.
12. Michigan State (10): The Spartans nearly got beat at Rutgers before falling at home to Michigan.
13. Texas Tech (8): The Red Raiders got beat at UCF.
14. Florida (20): The Gators are surging at the right time in the SEC.
15. Tennessee (18): The Vols got a W over Auburn to keep pace in the SEC.
16. Texas A&M (22): The Aggies are tied for first in the SEC with a potential season-changing week ahead.
17. Vanderbilt (21): The Commodores are back to their winning ways with three in a row.
18. BYU (12): The Cougars had a rough week in the rugged Big 12 by losing at home to Arizona and at Kansas.

19. Kentucky (17): The Wildcats lost badly at Vanderbilt but then stunned the SEC by winning at Arkansas.
20. Indiana (NR): Time to respect the Hoosiers. Indiana had a season-changing week by beating Purdue at home and then going to UCLA and surviving in double OT.
21. Purdue (13): The Boilermakers ended a three-game losing streak by winning at Maryland.
22. Arkansas (16): Two weeks after beating Vanderbilt, the Hogs got upset at home by Kentucky.
23. Saint Louis (23): The Billikens have won 15 in a row and are 21-1.
24. Miami (Ohio) (24): The RedHawks are 22-0 and 10-0 in the MAC.
25. Auburn (19): The Tigers saw their four-game win streak stop at Tennessee.
26. Clemson (26): The Tigers sit alone in second place in the ACC.
27. North Carolina (32): The Tar Heels have won three in a row the week of the Duke game. They should get past Syracuse first.

28. Virginia (27): The Cavaliers have won two in a row since losing to North Carolina.
29. Wisconsin (34): The Badgers continue to take care of business with a pair of home wins, including beating Ohio State.
30. Louisville (NR): The Cardinals got a 14-point win over SMU after a 21-point loss to Duke.
31. Iowa (35): The Hawkeyes held on for a win over USC and then won at Oregon.
32. NC State (NR): The Wolfpack are starting to make an NCAA tournament run with four wins in a row.
33. Utah State (NR): The Aggies are back atop the Mountain West with a three-game win streak.
34. San Diego State (29): The Aztecs dropped their first MWC game to Utah State.
35. New Mexico (NR): The Lobos have won four in a row and are tied with Utah State and SDSU for first in the MWC.
36. Villanova (36): The Wildcats bounced back from a loss to UConn with a win over Providence.
37. Belmont (37): The Bruins continue to be the team to beat in the MVC with 10-2 record after winning their seventh in a row.
