🔥 TEXAS TECH ENDS OKLAHOMA DYNASTY | FINAL: TTU 3, OU 2
In its first-ever WCWS appearance, Texas Tech eliminated the four-time defending champion Sooners in walk-off fashion to close out a thriller in Oklahoma City. The Red Raiders are set to meet Texas in the WCWS finals on Wednesday.
The sky looked gloomy for Oklahoma, trailing 2-0 and down to its final strike on its final out in the top of the seventh inning. But Abigale Dayton delivered a moment of ecstasy for Sooner nation, pounding a two-run blast into the right-center field stands to knot the game 2-2. Devon Park erupted as the defending champs appeared to have conjured up the all-too-familiar magic softball fans have grown accustomed to. It was only Dayton's third home run of the season.
However, Texas Tech did not shy away at the plate in the bottom of the seventh, as Mihyia Davis' single put the game-winning run on base to dampen the spark still reverberating from Dayton's homer. The next at bat, Hailey Toney rocked a double to the left field wall, moving Davis to third with just one out before Lauren Allred's flyout to right field drove Davis in to win the game for Texas Tech.
It was a captivating finish in OKC to a game that will go down in WCWS history as the one that knocked off the greatest dynasty the sport has ever seen.

Who will join Texas in the WCWS finals? It will either be a rematch between the Sooners and Longhorns, or an in-state battle between the Texas programs, who both search for their first WCWS title. However, the Sooners must keep up their Oklahoma City magic, needing to take down the Red Raiders twice tonight in order to advance.

😳 Vols get out of a jam! | E3: Texas 0, Tenn 0
It looked like Texas would take the lead with the bases loaded and one of the hottest bats at the WCWS in Joley Mitchell at the plate. With two outs, Pickens got behind in a 3-0 count, but battled back to full before getting Mitchell to pop out in foul territory.
We remain scoreless in OKC.
