Miami (OH) is ringing the bell after upsetting No. 20 Union to win the Belpot trophy. The RedHawks take down the Garnet Chargers, 3-2, in the 2025 Friendship Four championship game after a late third-period goal.

Union tied it back up at 2-2 early in the third period, but Giampa would put things away with a lucky bounce off a Union defender's leg for the game-winning goal for Miami.
Miami takes home the Belpot trophy as the winner of the 2025 Friendship Four, and the RedHawks earn an important two wins after losing three of their last four games.

When you're playing against a goalie like Cameron Korpi, you need a little luck on your side. And that's exactly what the RedHawks have, as they take the lead late in the third period of the Friendship Four championship game.
Matteo Giampa crashed down the right wing side, ripping a wrist shot from the low circle that bounced off the cuff of Korpi's trapper, then off a Union defender's leg and into the back of the net for Giampa's second of the game. Miami is now just a few minutes away from taking home the Belpot trophy.

It was a back-and-forth second period, beginning with a powerplay for Miami, but the Garnet Chargers killed it off and got to work on the forecheck. A dominant shift came to a head with a snipe from the point by Etienne Lessard to tie the game at 1-1.

The Sacred Heart Pioneers shutout RIT, 3-0, to take home third place at the 2025 Friendship Four.
Michael Rubin opened the scoring with a powerful cut to the net, breaking the scoreless tie late in the second period for his first goal of the year. The defense stood tall for the rest of the game, and freshman goaltender Teagan Kendrick recorded his first NCAA, stopping all 26 RIT shots on goal. The Pioneers added two empty net goals in the dying minutes to seal the win
