❗️ UNLV holds off Idaho State, first win of Mullen Era
UNLV held off Idaho State in head coach Dan Mullen's return to the gridiron, winning 38-31, behind a strong fourth-quarter showing.
The Rebels were on upset watch in the first few minutes of the fourth, trailing 31-24 after the Bobcats scored their second rushing touchdown of the game. UNLV responded in epic fashion, though, snagging consecutive interceptions by Idaho State quarterback Jordan Cooke along with back-to-back touchdowns.
The Rebels' victory was sealed after forcing a late turnover-on-downs with less than three minutes left. It's Mullen's first win since November 2021.

🤩 WKU wideout makes acrobatic TD catch
When it comes to the first touchdown of the season, Western Kentucky might have the best one so far.
On third and 10, Hilltoppers wideout Matthew Henry made a fantastic grab for a 26-yard receiving touchdown to open up the scoring against Sam Houston. The redshirt senior made an over-the-shoulder catch while peeling off into the right corner of the end zone, putting WKU up 7-0.
